Daily Fact Fixx: A place where info-addicts gather to learn, absorb, meander, and ponder random, relatively useless information. The fact-bits are short, allowing you, the factoid-junky, to get a little “fact-fixx” and then move on with the things you should actually be doing. Unless of course you get sucked into the fact-fixx archives and get lost for hours in the seemingly endless well of information contained on this site. After all, one fact leads to another. Good luck.
***All information contained in this website is for entertainment purposes only and is very much a selection of the “best of the interweb” from various factoid sites and Wikipedia. While we at DFF make every attempt to be accurate, and we always credit our sources, we may occasionally get our facts wrong (or incomplete). Feel free to scold and correct us or send additional information in the comment section.
Who we are:
Wendy Campbell: I am a Canadian artist and entrepreneur with a background in web design, marketing and communications and not-for-profit fund raising. I was born and raised in Toronto and have lived in the Cayman Islands, Calgary, Vancouver, Oberhausen, Germany, and Tokyo, Japan. I have two lovely cats – Neko, and Spelunk who have traveled the world with me for the past 13 years. I also like to write – poetry, lyrics and music… but that’s another story. I am Co-Chair of the Cambridge Arts Festival – an annual celebration of music, performance, visual arts, and community in the City of Cambridge.
Susan Benton: I am a Canadian entrepreneur with a background of marketing, sales, communication, training and retail directorships at major Canadian theatres and art galleries. I was born in Toronto and have lived in Oakville, Stratford, London, Niagara-on-the-Lake, Niagara Falls and Waterdown and have travelled to England, Ireland, Scotland, and across Canada and the US. I have two awesome sons who each make the world a better place. I also play the piano (badly), cycle and run, and spend as much time at the cottage as I can.
Fact Fixx is part of Benton & Campbell, owners and operators of the Fixx group of websites and Cedar Lake online shop offering imaginative and inspired works by Canadian artists and artisans.
